General
All products from Sonata Custom are made to order. Due to this, and their customizable nature, once your order is accepted, it cannot be canceled or returned. The only exception is if the item received significantly differs from the one requested in the order. Minor variations in dimensions, color, and characteristics inherent to a completely handmade product are not considered sufficient variation to justify the return of an item. Any variation in the product will be confirmed before manufacturing begins.
This text makes a distinction between "product", listed in the store and featuring characteristics based on design, and "item", manufactured based on a specific customer’s order, where the features may slightly vary compared to the equivalent product.
Customer communication
Before and during the manufacturing of an item, and especially in the case of a request made through the custom product form, Sonata Custom will contact the customer to keep them informed about the status of their item or to finalize design, adaptation, and customization options.
If the customer does not respond to messages during the manufacturing of their item within a period of one year, it will be considered as a rejection of the item, but the amount paid will not be refunded.
Product features
The hardware installed in some products, such as pedalboards, drum kits, etc., as well as the available paints and finishes, are subject to availability. Sonata Custom reserves the right to modify these elements without updating the product images in the store. However, we will always aim to use similar quality and appearance elements and update the price if necessary. The images listed in the store are of items already sold. The customer agrees that their item may be photographed and published before leaving the premises.
Payment
The full payment must be made via bank transfer before the manufacturing of the item begins. Once manufacturing has started, no changes can be made to the item or its price.
Manufacturing time
The manufacturing time for products is variable and can take up to 2 weeks. However, the existence of previous pending orders may extend the delivery time of the item. You can inquire about the manufacturing time before making a purchase by contacting Sonata Custom.
Shipping
Shipments will be made through SEUR and are free for orders over €200 with delivery to mainland Spain. In case of loss or damage during shipping, the product will be re-manufactured and sent again, which may extend the delivery time. The customer is responsible for checking the condition of the item upon reception and rejecting it if it shows any damage.
Warranty
In case a repair is needed, Sonata Custom can either send the necessary parts or receive the item for repair. However, only the second option provides an extension of the warranty, which would be 6 months from the receipt of the repaired item. If the warranty period has expired, the customer will be required to pay for shipping, labour, and necessary parts before the repair.
Sonata Custom offers a two-year warranty from the date of shipment of the item. This warranty covers manufacturing and/or design defects, but does not cover normal wear and tear from use or misuse of the products. In case of an issue with an item, the customer must contact us and provide all the information requested to assess the problem. Sonata Custom reserves the right to determine if the issue is due to improper use of the item.
