About me: A unique fusion of science, music, and craftsmanship
Hello, I'm Alex, a craftsman with a deep passion for music and a degree in chemistry. My scientific background not only enriches my understanding of materials, such as paints, resins, varnishes, and adhesives, but also fuels my constant pursuit of the best sound and ergonomics in the instruments I design.
Additionally, my hobby for woodworking, backed by formal studies, allows me to ensure that each instrument not only sounds good but is also durable and structurally sound. From furniture to musical accessories, my focus is always on quality and adaptability.
I have always been interested in woodworking, and as soon as I had a space where I could practice it, I started making things for myself. Much of what I built was related to music, especially instruments that were hard to find or that I wanted to give a personal touch. Generally, the instruments I made turned out well, but in cases where they didn’t, there was always something to learn from the experience in order to make an improved version. And so, after building several prototypes, I thought my creations would be of interest to other musicians, and I decided to commercialize them.
As a multi-instrumentalist musician, every piece I make undergoes rigorous personal testing. I play bassoon in a classical band and am bassist, keyboardist, and occasionally drummer in a multi-genre group — experiences that allow me to understand and adapt my creations to the specific needs of different musical styles. I only offer products that I would personally use, ensuring exceptional quality.
